Ken Gallagher – Board Member

Mr. Ken Gallagher is the Director of Support Services and Site Manager at Northrop Grumman’s B-2 Whiteman Air Force Base Site, reporting to the Vice President of Northrop Grumman’s Long Range Strike Program. Support Services include Sub-System, Airframe and Low-Observable Engineering, Maintenance/Depot Level Technical Assistance, Air Crew; Weapon System Modifications; Weapon System Product Support; Configuration Management; Training and B-2 Contractor Inventory Control Point support. Ken’s previous assignment was Director, Depot and Modification Center at the Company’s Palmdale, California facility. There he was responsible for the management and execution of the B-2 Programmed Depot Maintenance and Depot Level Maintenance Programs. Ken joined Northrop Grumman in June 1983 as a Support Equipment Design Engineer on the F-20 development program. In December, 1983, he transferred to Northrop’s Advanced Systems Division as a member of the original B-2 design team. Assigned to the Logistics Organization as the lead supportability engineer for electrical and avionics subsystems Ken was subsequently promoted to manager of the B-2 Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System. Prior to assuming his current position, Ken held numerous Logistics Program Manager positions within Northrop Grumman including the F/A-18 C, D, E and F domestic and international programs, BQM-74 Aerial Targets Domestic Support Programs, Chukar Aerial Target International Support Programs, Tri-Service Stand-Off Attack Missile Support Program and several other military development programs. In addition, Ken was the architect of Northrop Grumman’s innovative F/A-18 Center Barrel Service Life Extension Program, which zero times the Navy’s F/A-18 airframes.
