Joe DriskillJoseph L. (Joe) Driskill is Executive Director of the Leonard Wood Institute (LWI), a Missouri-based 501(c) (3) non-profit, public purpose research organization focused on the fulfilling the technology needs of the U.S. Army at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

LWI’s purpose is to increase the capabilities of Missouri businesses, universities and research organizations to provide technology-related products or services to the Army, the result of which is a stronger technology base in Missouri for meeting military technology requirements and a more vibrant economy in the region and state.

About the NDIA STL

NDIA St Louis was instituted in January 1928 when the organization was still the Army Ordnance Association and remained an active partner through the 1990s. It was reformed 81 years later in January 2009 based on the recognition of the growth of the “industrial base”, the defense and homeland security industries in Missouri.
